KCG awarded prime contract for Information Assurance Services for the U.S. Navy – Portsmouth Naval Shipyard

Reston, VA, July 16, 2009 - Knowledge Consulting Group (KCG) has been competitively awarded a prime contract to provide Information Assurance Support Services to the U.S. Navy at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine. KCG will lead a Certification and Accreditation (C&A) transformation to DIACAP processes and is responsible for strengthening the security posture of the networks and applications inherent to PNS. In addition, the KCG Team will provide security C&A services for some applications that extend to other Naval facilities across the country.
